Lan Chen is the younger sister of Feng Nu, the daughter of Lan Yu and Yu Ruyan, and the wife of Rong Nianbing. Lan Chen is a cold beauty with a beautiful face. She has dark green hair and and clear blue eyes. Lan Chen was born with the physique of the ice phoenix. She spent her childhood worshiping her master, the Goddess of Ice and Snow. Lan means "blue/blueness, kohlrabi" (蓝). Kohlrabi is a cabbage of a variety with an edible swollen stem. Chen means "morning, dawn, daybreak, day spring" (晨).
