XO stands for “extra old” referring to the eaux-de-vie that have been carefully selected and aged, resulting in a cognac that is powerful, rich and undeniably rare. XO is blended from more than 100 eaux de vie specially selected from the four premier growing areas. Some of the eaux de vie used in the blend have been ageing in the Hennessy warehouses since the early part of this century.
