Up for sale is an all original grasshopper floor lamp by Greta Magnusson Grossman. The lamp retains its original blue paint and is still in nice vintage condition. The lamp still functions properly and seems to also have its original wiring. The lamp was purchased from the estate of the original owner. The family recalls this being purchased prior to 1955.

The iconic Grashoppa Floor Lamp was first produced in 1947 by the feminine pioneer Greta M. Grossman. The unique tripod stand of the Grashoppa Floor Lamp is tilted backward and gives the impression that the lamp is somehow alive and stalking its prey. Being one of Grossman’s most iconic designs, the authentic lamp has an elongated conical shade that rotates to direct light where needed. The shade can be tilted and rotated 360 degrees.
