xSSBC_Luigi_Stock.png Luigi (ルイージ) is the younger and taller brother of xSSBC_Mario_Stock.png Mario in the Super Mario series, usually known as the Player 2 between them. While he lives in his brother's shadow a lot of the time, Luigi has been the star in a few games, most of which being spin offs, notably New Super Luigi U. His greatest fame comes from Luigi's Mansion, where he gains the iconic Poltergust from Professor E. Gadd to stop the machinations of King Boo in a haunted mansion. He also is known for jumping higher and sliding more than Mario does, along with his cowardly personality as the most prominent side character in the series.
