Avec un nez empli de fraîcheur ou l’on capte d’abord l’anis vert, la Blanchette est herbacée et très parfumée avec une délicate note fruitée, végétale, apportée par l’anis, le fenouil et la grande absinthe. Elle se consomme allongée d’eau fraiche, sans sucre, car elle n’est pas amère. Son trouble lactée et givré apporte une sensation soyeuse en bouche.

The Combier story began nearly 180 years ago at 48 Rue Beaurepaire in the picturesque village of Saumur, just 200 miles southwest of Paris in the heart of France’s historic Loire Valley. Local confectioners by trade, Jean-Baptiste Combier and his wife operated straight out of their very own kitchen. Together, they shared a dream of inventing something new; something that had never existed before; something with just the right spice, just the right smell, and just the right taste.

Made from wild elderflower flowers picked and pruned by hand, the cream is prepared the old-fashioned way: maceration in neutral alcohol for several months in our cellars then light press. The infusion is then combined with an elderberry spirit obtained by distillation to make a particularly fragrant cream of flowers. Strongly aromatic with its lychee airs, it will enhance and adapt easily to all types of gin and vodka-based cocktails.
